How does ZACCI lobby for its members?
Procedure
a) A member first lodges a compliant to ZACCI and ZACCI then asks the member to substantiate the claim by way of providing full details on the matter. After further consultations and consolidation of the matter, an official compliant is then forwarded to the appropriate arm of Government for redress.
b) If this does not work out to the full satisfaction of ZACCI and/or their client, other wings of Government are approached such as Parliament again through the appropriate committees. The success rate is 7 out of 10 cases bearing in mind that the success factor also largely depends on three main factors that is: the administration of the day, the quality of documentation of the case being presented and whether the issue being presented has a major impact on the economy overall.
